I work virtually and remotely as an independent contractor. Because I pay for my own taxes, health benefits, & office expenses, you are saving you money on overhead expenses. I am managing a service-based business venture & being a mom to two young daughters and with my husband, Ryan. 

Early in my career, I was working as the director of an After-School Program where I honed my leadership and organization skills and where my initial exposure to bookkeeping started.

Before having children, I was working as assistant production supervisor for television commercials. I was behind-the-scenes, helping to ensure the business side of the production was run smoothly. I assisted with budget management, accounts payable, categorizing transactions and reconciling credit card charges.

 

Later I pursued a role as an operations specialist in the life insurance department at a large financial broker-dealer. I handled key accounts with thorough communication, urgency, and accuracy.

In October 2021 I created She Is a Light Virtual Solutions. There is light in me, my daughters, and you. I fully-transitioned to an ex-corporate employee and full-time online business owner in July 2022.  I love having freedom & flexibility and serving other women in business in a way that is aligned for me.  

I enjoy learning about spirituality & deepening my connection with my intuition. I am 5/1 Sacral Generator in Human Design, and an Aries Sun, Pisces Moon and Libra Rising.

When I'm not serving my clients, I am having intentional time creating & playing with my kids and my husband, basking in the sun, hanging in nature likely near water, or getting a massage! Our family includes 3 cats and we call beautiful South Carolina our home!
